    The Steline flag.

Steline is a specific type of genderhoarding that is often done by choice, though it doesn’t necessarily need to be. Steline labels can be dropped, hoarded, and have priority over others. They're often casual, “in the background,” or not very intensive, though this may not always be the case. They can range from very intense identification to unobtrusive. Furthermore, there may be specific tiers of how much someone relates to said identities. Steline individuals can have any number of labels, and the amount might fluctuate throughout their lifetime.

Reasons for why someone is steline may vary. Popular reasons may be because of hyperfixation, a need to “hoard” things (possibly due to things like OCD), or simply for fun. Though it may be caused by or related to neurodivergency, use of this term is NOT a neurogender, and therefore is NOT restricted to neurodivergent individuals.

This label is similar to constelic, but in a gender way.

    History & Etymology

Steline was coined on Tumblr by crescentcollections and Reddit by CrescentCaribou.[1][2] Both were created on Saturday March 4th, 2023

It was inspired by an alterhuman label called Constelic, which was coined by nonanthropy on Tumblr.[3][4]

The name takes "stel" from "constelic" and the "-ine" suffix from this suffix list.

    Flag

The flag was designed by CrescentCaribou/crescentcollections.[1] The flag colors are a mix of the constelic flag and the two genderhoarding flags. He considered adding an extra stripe, but thought that keeping it to five would add more cohesion (because five stripes / five star points). The star symbol is similar but different to the constelic star symbol.
