Softcollector is a term where someone collects genders and/or terms that they consider soft, plush or comforting. Some examples of these genders include, but are not limited to, pilwegender, gendersploof, and plushyic. Of course, these genders can be different for everyone. The genders can be static, fluid or flux.

This term was coined by FANDOM user Cosmic Lemon151 on May 21, 2021, as they wanted a term to describe the kind of genders they hoarded.
