History and Flag
The term was created by Tumblr user nonbinarybumblebee on July 15, 2014.[1] The first sinegender flag was created by Tumblr user beyond-mogai-pride-flags on February 24, 2019.[2]
The alternate sinegender flag was created by Tumblr user gender-resource on April 13, 2020.[3] The pallet of the alternate flag was created by drawing a sine function through the color spectrum between yellow and purple, two colors that represent non-binary people.
