Sapphomoric is a term for women who exclusively love other women. It was coined by @pupfemme on Instagram because “bisexuals have invaded the Lesbian label and changed it to include men”. The term excludes bi lesbians, though nonbinary lesbians are free to use it if they want to. It is an inherently exclusionary label, much like Vixenamoric, and shouldn’t have been created to begin with as bi lesbians are going to continue to exist regardless of how someone feels about them. |
