QUILTBAG is a purposed alternative version of LGBT+ standing for queer, unsure, intersex, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, asexual/aromantic, gay. It is designed to be more easily pronounced in order to make it easier to remember.
History
The term was coined by Sadie Lee sometime within October 2006, within the magazine “Final Call: Kate Bornstein”, on page 114.
