Pulsaric is an orientation where attraction to one gender or certain genders is static while attraction to another gender or other genders fluctuates between feeling attraction and feeling no attraction.
While pulsaric was intended for non-binary individuals, it is open to binary individuals as well.[1]
Etymology
The pulsar in pulsaric refers to the highly magnetized rotating stars called pulsars. While these stars constantly emit beams of radiation from their magnetic core, these beams are only observable from Earth when they emit towards the planet.

The term was coined by Tumblr user maltese-death-kitty, formerly astro-boye, on January 23, 2018.[2]

The pulsaric flag was created by Tumblr user lightningfilledmain, formerly known as michaelwhomst, in either January or February 2018.[4]
