A protlasromantic individual could feel that romantic relationships take more work and energy than it does for other people, and may be seen partially/wholly as the reason why they identify as [[aromantic]] or an identity on the [[aromantic spectrum]], though one does not have to be aromantic/on the spectrum to identify as protlasromantic.
