Pink Mushroom Gender is a subgenre of mushroomgender. Pink mushroom gender is defined as a gender feels a strong connection to mushrooms and nature, and feel that mushrooms are a part of their gender. Unlike mushroomgender, this may be connected to femininity and/or neutrality.

The term was coined by Tumblr user luci-starboy on August 23, 2021.
Flag
The flag was also made by luci-starboy. The pink represents feminine/neutral energy (but not necessarily being girl-aligned), the brown and green represent mud and moss, which are found in the same places mushrooms tend to grow, and the mushroom just looked cute to the coiner.
