The blue heart in the centre represents how each label adds to a persons feeling of identity |

Patchworkhoarder is an identity term for those who constantly feel the need to "add" to their indentities in all aspects. This is similar to genderhoarder, however, in the case of a patchworkhoarder, the hoarding involves all aspects of their identity, not necessarily just their gender and sexuality. A patchworkhoarder may also want to hoard other identity labels, such as their star signs and other personal traits, to further add to their sense of identity.
History:
The term was coined by wikiuser cutecrip on the 27th of June 2021.
The term "patchworkhoarder" was used to describe how a patchworkhoarder is always looking for identity labels to add to their sense of self, similar to how one would slowly add to a patchwork blanket to expand it.
