Paraidemsexual describes a person who feels like gay/lesbian/homosexual is very close to defining their sexual identity, but the person still feels a little unsure or anxious about describing themself as gay and/or lesbian. This can be due to many different reasons including: a traumatic past, being unsure of how to apply the concept of sexual attraction to oneself, feeling connected to same gender erotica visuals and written material but are unsure of how they experience sexual attraction (if at all) in the real world, etc. |
