Orphic is a gender in which one feels emptiness where their gender would be and feels as though it would be better unsaid. It is similar to agender, but with a sense that ones gender or self should not exist but does, and the individual is content with that.
It feels empty but they do not want to fill it, for it feels like it shouldn’t and doesn’t need to be filled. This gender feeling could be described as feeling lost, empty or missing, or as though their gender was left behind and forgotten. This feeling could also be like liminal spaces, feeling familiar and like the individual is not meant to exist but they do.
