Opacigender is a xenogender where one's gender feels partially like it’s lowered in opacity. This could have one of two meanings.
- It could mean ones gender feels like it’s only partially there.
- It could mean the gender feels hard to see.
For some people it is more clear what percentage the opacity would be at, for example one could feel like their gender is 20% there. Some people feel like their gender is fluctuates in opacity, for example one could feel like their gender is 30% there one day and 70% there the next.
History
Opacigender was coined by FANDOM user Autumnstardust on May 13, 2021[1]. Both of the flags were designed on the same day- the main by Autumnstardust and the alternate by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs.
