Nomifluid, also called namefluid or abronominal is when one's name is fluid. One might go by one name on one day, then go by another name the next. This is similar to genderfluid, but instead of one's gender being fluid, it is their name being fluid.
A nomifluid person can have any gender, they do not have to be genderfluid. If they are genderfluid their changing name may or may not be related to their changing gender.
History
Namefluid appears to be first coined on February 18, 2019 on the Tumblr blog beyond-mogai-pride-flags. Namefluid was independently coined on October 13th, 2020 on this wiki.
Nomifluid, along with the flags, was created by Quora user Andrew Turner on March 24th, 2020. Both of the flag's colors have no specific meaning to them.[1]
Etymology
The prefix nomi- was taken from the Latin word for "name", nomen.
