    Mythicgender is a xenogender with association to things that are supernatural, mystical, or non-earthly beings. These can include but are not limited to things like mermaids, godlike creatures, fairies, and creatures that one creates. individuals who are mythicgender may use mythicgender to express one's gender/relationship with gender/view of one's gender through supernatural creatures.

    Mythicgender is not a kingender; it's not identifying as a non-human/supernatural creature. Mythicgender describes one who uses supernatural/non-earthly beings to describe one's gender, because of the associations with said creature.

    Mythicgender vs. Mythogender

    While both mythicgender and mythogender express a gender in relation to mythical creatures and concepts, mythogender is for GNC individuals who wish to present as a mythological creature, whereas mythicgender is for individuals whose gender is actually connected to mythical concepts and creatures, whether or not they wish to present as one.

    History

    Mythicgender was coined by Tumblr user callumslolita, also known as lllegoshii on tiktok, during or before March 2021. He identifies as mythicgender and coined the term to explain why he identifies as he does and how it works. He also created it in order to find others who were similar to him.[1]

    Flags

    The original mythicgender flag was created for all mythicgender individuals, with no specific theme/element attached. It was created by Tumblr user callumslolita on March 17th 2021. Yellow represents association with mythical creatures, green means nature/earth, purple means gender-less, blue meaning masculine and pink meaning feminine.

    Multiple flag variations were created to represent different types of mythogenders. The deer flag is for mythicgender individuals who identify more with nature-related creatures; the godly flag is for mythicgender individuals to express a godly association with gender (in a non-religious way); the mysterious flag is for mythicgender individuals who are connected with "evil" energy, and the sea flag is for mythicgender individuals who identify with sea/ocean/water, etc related creatures.
