    The original flag was madecoined by Sgtdeathcat on November 2nd,1st 2020. The design was heavily inspired by the he/him, she/her, they/them and [[Neopronouns|neopronoun]] flags. The flag has had many redesigns by its creator but the current one was made by them on November 1st,2nd 2020. The colourscolors representare the same as the mutogender flag, asbut is instead the style of other pronoun flags, andwhile the wave representin the middle represents [[Pronounfluid|pronoun fluidity]].

    The mutopronoun flag.

    Mutopronoun or mutopronominal is a term used to describe when one’s pronouns change in certain situations or contexts. Some examples of this include, but are not limited to...

    • A genderfluid person whos pronouns align with the gender they currently hold (see correfluid).
    • A drag king or drag queen who uses different pronouns when performing (see stage pronouns).
    • Someone who has different pronouns at different points of the day. For example, one uses she/her in the morning and fae/faer at night.
    • Someone whose pronouns always correlate with the pronouns of the person speaking to/about them (see mirrored pronouns) (for the following examples, X refers to the mutopronominal person, and Y refers to the person referring to them):
      • If Y uses he/him pronouns, Y will refer to X as he/him
      • If Y uses ze/hir pronouns, Y will refer to X as ze/hir
      • If Y uses she/they pronouns, Y will refer to X as she/they

    Flag

    The flag was coined by Sgtdeathcat on November 1st 2020. The design was heavily inspired by the he/him, she/her, they/them and neopronoun flags. The flag has had many redesigns by its creator but the current one was made by them on November 2nd 2020. The colors are the same as the mutogender flag, but is instead the style of other pronoun flags, while the wave in the middle represents pronoun fluidity.
