Musigender or Musicgender is an subcategory of audiogender. It is an umbrella term for any gender that is related to, or can be described used music theory. It should not be confused with musicagender, which is a gender described by a specific genre of music, whereas musigender uses ideas of music theory to describe gender and is not related to any one genre.
Many musicians feel closely related to music in some way. If one has such a connection with music it's possible that one's gender could be influenced by music in some way. The coiner of these terms has stated that if one uses these terms one should probably know at least a little about music theory in order to conceptualize them, otherwise they will likely be confusing or might be misunderstood.
Musicgender can also be used as a gender on it's own, to describe a gender that is related to musicianship or music theory, or it can be used as an umbrella term.
