Monotra is term used to define someone who was and/or felt like they were once monogamous, but, due to trauma, they are now polyamorous. This term may only be used by those who have PTSD, C-PTSD, or trauma-formed disorders.
One with this identity may also be caedsexual and/or caedromantic. The opposite to this is polytra, while the non-exclusive version of this term is monocortar.
History
Monotra was coined by FANDOM user Cyptocrew on May 1st of 2021, to counterpart polytra's coining.
