Monoflexible is a term for individuals who mainly seek out a monogamous relationship, but are willing to experiment with a polyamorous relationship. Unlike an identity such as Ambiamorous, monoflexible people have an established preference for monogamous relationships. They are open to polyamourous relationships primarily for experimental purposes only. The opposite of monoflexible would be polyflexible.
History
The use of the term Monoflexible dates long before the articles creation date (February 11th, 2021), however, there is no trace of the words first appearance.
Flag
The flag is a combination of the monogamy and polyamory flags, in similar vein to other -flexible flags.
