Mesolithgender, originally coined mesogender, is a gender that feels relatively young but is still quite old to the person with the gender. It is younger than paleolithgender but not as young as neolithgender.

The term was coined by uncommongenders on November 28, 2018.[1] It was originally coined as “mesogender” but was changed to mesolithgender by the end of the day.[2]
The flag was created by Tumblr user genderrose on January 26, 2019.[3] Created at the same time as the paleolithgender and neolithgender flags, it has a similar use of muted colors and number of stripes.
