 Man is a term used for adults, while boy is used for children. Guy is used a casual word for men, typically younger men. Male is also sometimes used as a synonym for man, however "male" can also be used to denote [[sex]] traits, so is typically considered too clinical for most cases. "Male" can sometimes be used to exclude trans men. The word [[wergender]] was created to encompass all the various words.
