Maedic, formerly called asterian, describes women who are attracted to non-binary individuals (WLNB). This attraction may or may not be exclusive, and some users may use the label in order to prioritize attraction towards non-binary individuals. Maedic is an umbrella term like sapphic, and while it isn't often used as a label on it's own, it can be if the user chooses.

Its MLNB counterpart is adonic. Its NBLW equivalent is trixic.
History
The term asterian was coined by deactivated Tumblr user @orbisian-prinxess. It was coined on February 9th, 2018,[1] around the same time as astroidian. The flag was also designed by them, with an unknown meaning.[2] Before it came out that the user in question was heavily anti-MOGAI,[3][4] the Tumblr blog beyond-mogai-pride-flags created another label and flag for the same purpose, called maedic,[5] and the term asterian was since reclaimed from its anti-MOGAI roots to describe mesquin individuals.[6]
