Lunarboy is a xenogender that describes the experience of both boyhood and a deep connection to the moon. This connection may be due to alterhumanity or neurodivergence, but it's not exclusive to those experiences.
History
Lunarboy was coined on July 24, 2021, by Saku/Aether, a member of the Raining Stars Collective, which is their username both on Discord and on FANDOM. They designed the flag the same day.
Although this term was made by the Raining Stars Collective, rights and ownership of this term have been handed over to Contie. Raining Stars Collective gave permission for this statement to be added to this page.
