Lion Intersex refers to an intersex individual who's proud, in any degree, of their intersex body, identity, and presents in a way that can be considered "intersex", or that shows openly that they're such.
History
The term and it's flag were created by Tumblr user julietianboy on December 24th, 2022.[1] He stated the flag was "inspired somewhat by queer presentation terms and the term and flag [of] Lykoi Lesbian. [The] lion is used due to being a common symbol of pride. [The lion] symbol used in the flag is inspired by lions with shorter manes and maned lionesses." The flag was inspired by the yellow and purple intersex flag, as well as the colors of African lions.
