Basically someone who experiences little to no romantic attraction but desires it to happen one, but due to trauma, religion, stories, or simply a "gut-feeling," they fear stuff will go wrong. Yet they seek a romantic relationship with someone who they know they could trust, and it could take a long time for someone with this term to feel comfortable/ready to jump into romantic terms.▼

Not all Lingerromantic are required to have dealt with stress or trauma to label themselves as it, but do need some form of event or feeling that has temporarily halted the individual in getting into contact with someone [[Romantic Attraction|romantically]].

Lingerromantic, along with the main and first alt flags, were coined by FANDOM user Musephile on April 26, 2021.
The green tones representing the [[Aromantic Spectrum|aromatic spectrum]] and the yellow and pink/red tones resenting the [[Romantic Attraction|romantic attraction]].
