Lavenique, also called laveniq, is a label for all black and racially mixed lesbians.
It is similar to oshian, but specifically for lesbians instead.[1] It is designed for those that feel a disconnect from the lesbian label (typically due to the white-washing and white domination of lesbian history, and lesbian stereotypes) but is open to use by any black lesbian
