Implasexual or Inexsexual is the state of never being satisfied with one's sexual orientation no matter how well it fits due to self-doubt. This causes one to compulsively search and seek out something that fits even better- to find "the orientation" or "the one truth"- though one will never be found due to a) Words will never be able to describe one's sexuality. b) One's orientation is paradoxical. This inability to find a "one true orientation" frequent causes self-doubt and can even cause the label implasexual to feel imperfect to the individual.
It is similar to xumsexual however it is not exclusive to neurodivergent people.
History
Implasexual was coined by DeviantArt user Ash-Doggie along with Pride-Flags from DeviantArt. The flag was designed by Ash-Doggie, and the alternate flag was designed by DeviantArt user lgbtrainbowdolls.
Flag
The meanings of the colors of the main flag are-
Black is for a-spectrum
Purple is for sexual attraction/the color commonly used in acespec designs.
White is for lack of attraction
The meanings of the colors of the alternate flag are-
Purple: a sense of knowledge and peace.
Green: an acknowledgement of knowing that one could never quite find the right term to fit their sexuality.
Navy blue: having felt that one is “done” trying to find the right term for their sexuality.
Etymology
Implasexual and inexsexual come (respectively) from the Latin words implacatus/inexpletus which mean unsatisfied.
