    The implaromantic flag.

Implaromantic or inexromantic is the state of never being satisfied with one's romantic orientation no matter how well it fits due to self-doubt. This causes one to compulsively search and seek out something that fits even better, to find "the orientation" or "the one truth." Often this is caused by a lack of words to describe one's romantic attraction or the paradoxical nature of one's orientation. This inability to find a "one true orientation" frequently causes self-doubt and can even cause the label implaromantic to feel imperfect to the individual.

It is similar to xumromantic, though implaromantic and inexromantic are not exclusive to neurodivergent people.

    Etymology

Implaromantic and inexromantic come from the Latin words implacatus and inexpletus respectively, which both mean unsatisfied.

    History and Flag

Implaromantic was coined by DeviantArt user Ash-Doggie on July 5, 2016, who also designed the original flag.[1] The black stripe is for aro-spectrum, green for romantic attraction and because the color is commonly used in aro-spec designs, and white for lack of attraction.
