A flag with three stripes. They are light red, medium red, and dark red. There are small black stripes in between.
    The illgender flag

Illgender is a neurogender that is affected in some way by an individual's chronic fatigue and/or chronic malaise. Examples would be having a different gender when experiencing fatigue and/or malaise, having a weaker gender when experiencing more fatigue and/or malaise, etc. This gender is exclusive to those who experience chronic fatigue, chronic malaise, or both, but not to any specific conditions.

    History and Flag

A flag with three stripes. They are light red, medium red, and dark red.
    The original illgender flag

Illgender was coined by reddit user Sam724A on July 8, 2021 to describe eir experiences with gender and ME/CFS. The original flag was created at the same time by the coiner. It doesn't have any meaning, but was designed to avoid fatigue. The new flag was created on October 17, 2021 by the coiner because twitch felt that the original flag’s colors ran together and this could cause dizziness for some people, so ey wanted to address this.
