Ignotusic is a term for genderfluid (or those who have fluid gender identities in general) individuals that do not know what gender they identify with for that moment.
Those who fluctuate to a ignotusic state may use neutral gender terms; a separate name than usual (if they feel discomfort with their typical name[s]); a different set of pronouns ; and/or neutral or xenic gender expression. Of course, this varies between individuals and is not constant within everybody.
The term ignotusic derives from the Latin word “ignotus”— defined as “unknown”.
