Hardwaregender is a xenogender defined by a connection to computer hardware, such as circuit boards, wires, and CPUs. It may also involve a connection to a specific type of computer, in which case it can overlap with OSgender.
History
The term was coined on 1 February, 2021 by wiki user VoxelDraqon.
Flag
The hardwaregender flag was created by an anonymous Wikia FANDOM user. The first yellow, deep blue, red, orange, & lighter green represent the common colors of wires. The dim/dark greens, the second yellow, and the dull blue represent the common colors of a circuit board. Wires and circuit boards were used because they are the most understood computer hardware components.
