It was made for non-binary individuals, but anyone who feels a close connection to grey fur rabbits can use it.

The term was coined by user XxXLunarCatXxX on September 30, 2021.[1] The flag was created on October 2, 2021, by the same user. The colors are meant to represent different shades of grey fur rabbits.
