Paranormalgender is a xenogender and aesthetigender describing a love for and/or a close connection to the paranormal, and mainly ghosts. It may feel soft, glowing, luminescent, and translucent. One may have a hyperfixation on ghosts, feel as if it is the only way they can describe their gender, or simply want to incorporate ghosts into their gender identity.
History
The original term, ghostgender, was coined by a-marinara-sauce[1] on Tumblr.[2] However, since another "Ghostgender" term had existed beforehand, the name was changed to paranormalgender by FANDOM user Iwillregretthisuwu on July 24th, 2021.[3]
