(It says "identity systems and terminology." It does, however, include ace-spec identities because they are not "identity systems" (theyre not gender systems, sex-related systems, etc. Plenty of ace-spec terms are added to there all the time.)) |

Fuoriace (pronounced fa-wor-dee-ace) is a term on the asexual spectrum in which an individual is alright with most or all sexual interaction, but when it comes to penetration, they feel turned off, completely uninterested, and/or disgusted. This means they are sexually attracted to other forms of sexual interactions, its just penetration that disturbs or disinterests them.
Some reasons why this may occur include, but are not limited to...
- Trauma related to penetration
- An underdeveloped/small vagina (causing penetration to hurt)
- An underdeveloped/small anal opening (causing penetration to hurt)
- Dysphoria that is influenced or intensified by penetration
- Sex repulsion (but only towards penetration)
The opposite of this is dentroace.
History
This term was coined by Cryptocrew, specifically Angel, on May 6th of 2021.
Etymology
The name comes from the words al di fuor, which is Italian for 'outside.'
