The Floral System is a system describing of non-binary gender presentation without having to use binary language like "masculine" or "woman-aligned". It is used similar to how the lesbian terms "butch" and "femme" are used.

In the Floral System, one's gender expression is very important to their gender and/or overall identity. Their gender or gender alignment does not have to align with their presentation; for example, one could be masculine aligned but present femininely, with feminine presentation being important to one's overall identity.

The system is similar to the Pallet System, which also describes non-binary presentation. Unlike the Floral System, in the Pallet System one's presentation is completely unrelated to their identity.

The Floral System is named such because all of the alignment terms are derived from the names of flowers.
