Line 7:
The prefix ''Dynama-'' comes from the English word “Dynamic” meaning a constant change in activity or progress. This is to reflect the dynamic response one’s asexuality may give in reaction to certain genders.
== History ==
Dynamasexual was initially created by Reddit user MassiveMarionberry97 on the 16th of October, 2021.<ref name=":0">https://www.reddit.com/r/
The name "dynamasexual" was suggested as a replacement by Reddit user CUPS_818 on the 8th of January, 2022.<ref name=":1">{{Archive|Site=web|URL=https://www.reddit.com/r/QueerVexillology/comments/t4y35v/dynamaromantic_dynamasexual_flag/}}</ref>
== Flag ==
Line 15:
The first flag was created by Reddit user MassiveMarionberry97 on the 16th of October, 2021.<ref name=":0" /> The flag uses pink stripes to represent women, yellow stripes to represent non-binary identities and blue stripes to represent men. The purple has no confirmed meaning, but was likely to represent asexuality. The centre stripes are oriented vertically represent how the ace-spec orientations experienced are different across genders.
The second flag was created by Reddit user MassiveMarionberry97<ref>{{Archive|Site=web|URL=https://www.reddit.com/r/QueerVexillology/comments/qc3d2r/redesign_flag_of_my_oc_sexuality_agensexual}}</ref> on the 20th of October, 2021. The colours have no confirmed meaning, but likely hold similar meanings to the first version of the flag. The colours were more muted to make the flag easier on the eyes.
The third flag was created by Reddit user CUPS_818 on the 2nd of March, 2022.<ref name=":1" /> The black represents asexuality, the dark purple represents sexual experiences, the white represents emotional bonds, the grey represents [[Greysexual|grey-aces]], the light purple represents romantic experiences and the bottom purple stripe represents community. It was taken from the [[asexual]] flag. Multiple shades of purple were used to represent the asexual spectrum. The grey stripe intersects the three main colours to represent how "''different ace experiences make up for different asexualities''". The black and purple borders cross the entire flag to show how all asexual experiences are still asexual.
