Dreamsexual, also known as Sognaresexual and Yumesexual is when someone only feels sexual attraction during dreams, but rarely or never feels sexual attraction when awake. It is a subset of asexual, and the aromantic counterpart is dreamromantic, or sognareromantic.
History
Dreamsexual appears to have been coined by an anomynous on January 24th of 2021, however its origins is unknown.
Flag
The flag was coined by FANDOM user Clear.Skyes January 26, 2021. The second flag was coined by FANDOM user Squiddydee. The pink gradient represents the soft, vague, misty, sweet side of dreams and the blue-gray gradient represents the more turbulent, bizarre, and darker side of dreams. The black stripe represents the night.
