    Demisexualspike, also known as Exceptional-Demisexual is a term for someone who is normally demisexual, and requires a strong emotional connection with someone before feeling sexual attraction. However, they experience rare cases where they feel sexual attraction without having an emotional connection.

    Demispike was coined on the LGBTA wiki by the user LittlePrettyKittyAlly and MaxTheTransGuy on October 18, 2020.[1] The flag was created by MaxTheTransGuy on October 19, 2020.
