== History and flag == |
|||
While the origin of the deminonbinary label is unknown, the label and yellow-stripe flag can be seen as early as June 21st, 2013 <ref>https://www.deviantart.com/savvyred/journal/Pride-Flags-Colors-explained-379547414</ref>. The meaning of the colors for that flag are mentioned to be as follows: grey for the partial nature of the gender, yellow for it's non-binary nature, and white to represent all genders or it's connection to being agender. That site attributes the yellow-stripe flag to Tumblr user ''alexander--the-great'', whose account is no longer accessible. The purple-stripe alternative flag was posted by DeviantArt user ''Pride-Flags'' on July 4th, 2015, with the purple being a mixture of pink and blue representing masculinity and femininity <ref>https://www.deviantart.com/pride-flags/art/Deminonbinary-Demiandrogyne-3-543925435</ref>. |
