Cupioplatonicflux is when someone feels that they are cupioplatonic sometimes, but not always. One's want for a platonic relationship will fluctuate between not wanting a platonic relationship and wanting a platonic relationship. Cupioplatonicflux is a microlabel on the Aplatonic Spectrum, like cupioplatonic. This is considered similar but not the same as aplflux.
The sexual equivalent is cupiosexualflux, the romantic equivalent is cupioromanticflux, and the queerplatonic equivalent is cupioqueerplatonicflux.
History

Kalosromantic and kalossexual (which later became known as cupioromantic and cupiosexual) were coined by Tumblr user acelyssie on or before June 16, 2014.[2]
Flag
The flag was created by user CrystalOwl (CrystalOwl95455 on FANDOM) November 15, 2021. The flag was designed to reflect the designs of both the cupiosexual-flux and the aplflux flags, using the layout of teh former and the colors of the latter. It was created alongside the cupioqueerplatonicflux flag by the same user on the same day.
