Crosspronoun, also known as transpronomial, crosspronominal and alterpronomial is the phenomenon of using “unexpected” pronouns; pronouns that are uncommon or do not align with one's gender identity. It is a form of gender non-conformity and falls under the umbrella of pronoun non-conforming.
