    The cavetowngender flag.

Cavetowngender is a xenogender in which an individual's gender can be described by, is related to, or fluctuates in any way while listening to music produced by the artist, Cavetown. This could mean a few things:

    • The gender in question could be described using a song or multiple songs by Cavetown.
    • The gender is fluid and/or fluctuates while listening to Cavetown.
    • The gender is related to Cavetown's music. This could be because the individual:
      • has a vague gender and does not know their exact connection to the music, but knows that there is a connection.
      • does not know how to explain their connection due to neurodivergence.
      • does not wish to elaborate on the connection for whatever reason.
      • has a hyperfixation on Cavetown and/or his music due to neurodivergence.

It is not a gender related to Cavetown himself, but instead related to his music and arrangements. Cavetowngender is meant to be used by neurodivergent individuals; however, it can also be used by non-ableist neurotypicals.[1]

    History
