The callisexual flag was coined by a user going by Weniviere on December 30th, 2020. Many of the colors are taken from the aesthetic attraction and sexual attraction flags. The lightest pink represents exploration in ones identity, the second lightest represents questioning, the medium pink represents adoration/attraction, and the dark pink represents appearance. White represents feeling as though the lines are blurred and being unable to tell the difference between aesthetic attraction and sexual attraction. The dark orange represents xenic/otherkin people, light orange represents the binary genders, gold represents non-binary genders, and pale yellow represents agender/genderless and anonbinary people. The design in the middle represents races and cultures, and how aesthetics can be different depending on ones race. The question mark represents confusion.
