Callimengender was coined by Reddit user u/xx_cyph3r on December 22nd, 2021, on the subreddit r/XenogendersAndMore.[1] The flag was created at the same time and has no known meanings.
Etymology
The name itself comes from the Latin word "callim" (meaning "unknown") and the English word "engender" (meaning "to happen/cause"). [2]
