Burst or burstsexual/burstromantic is an a-spec identity where one is normally completely asexual or aromantic but occasionally experiences sudden, short bursts of attraction. It could be considered an alternate word for arospike/acespike. It can be combined with other identities.
Origin
Burst was coined by an unknown user, before 21st June 2017.[1]
Flag
The burst flag's color meanings are as follows: Deep sky blue symbolizes loyalty. Lavender symbolizes power. Purple symbolizes nobility. Blue symbolizes trust. The blue bursting star in the middle symbolizes the spike of attraction burst people feel and is the color for wisdom.[2]
