Buenosexual is a term used to describe individuals who want to be attracted to a certain gender even though they currently are not attracted to them. They may already be sexually attracted to a certain gender, but they strongly want to be attracted to a different one. Individuals who are both heterosexual and heteroromantic cannot be buenosexual.
A couple of examples include:
- An asexual individual who has no sexual attraction, however they strongly wish they were attracted to men in a sexual manner.
- A polysexual individual who is not attracted to women, but strongly wishes they were.
- A heterosexual homoromantic man who wishes they were attracted to men sexually.

The first flag was coined by an unknown person at an unknown time. The second flag was coined by a user going by Willow on November 20th, 2020. The shades of grey stand for the desire for something that can never change, the blue stands for sadness that may come along with this desire, the red/heart surrounded by black symbolizes that the desire has been blocked by life and is not allowed to become truth.
