    Biogender, or naturengender[1], refers to any gender that is connected to nature in some way. It may be an aesthetic connection, a connection through kintype, or another type of connection. The gender may also be described as being like, sharing qualities with, or being related to, nature or some aspect of nature.

    It can be used an umbrella term for a subgroup of xenogenders or as an identity on its own. As an umbrella term in includes subcategories such as faunagender and floragender.

    History

    Biogender was coined by an anonymous Tumblr user on July 25, 2016. The flag was made by Tumblr user Pride-Color-Schemes on July 25, 2016.[2]The alternate flag was created by wiki user Robinary on January 3, 2021. The symbol used is from game-icons.net.[3]
