The banjogender flag was also designed by Reign of the queerios on March 8, 2021. The deep red/golden orange color scheme of the flag represents the traditional colors of banjos and the blue color scheme represents bluegrass and hippie aesthetics related to banjos. The bright, breezy shades of each color represent the bright carefree, bluegrass tones most commonly associated with banjo music.
