Aspectussexual is an ace-spec orientation where an individual appears to have sexual attraction but actually feels no sexual attraction at all. They tend to act in ways that most individuals would assume allosexual individuals do. For example, an aspectussexual individual likes to flirt, make sexual jokes, or look sexy, but they do so because they enjoy it, not because they have the goal of attracting someone for a sexual relationship.

Aspecussexual have been accused of leading individuals on as well as pretending to be asexual. Aspecussexual individuals are no less a-spec just because they choose to act in a supposedly allosexual way.

    A similar term is pseudosexual.
