The first Arsongender flag was made in a reddit post by the reddit user u/small_brain_gay on September 30th of 2020 in the same post where the first recorded use of the term Arsongender was first recorded , this flag is made of black, maroon, yellow orange, and white horizontal lines, the color correspondence is as follows: black for ashes at the very top and bottom , maroon for fire bordering the black on the top and bottom , yellow orange for out of the pink-blue binary , and white for the lack of gender , new versions of the Arsongender flag usually stick to these colors often adding two grey horizontal lines to show the blurry disconnect between one and their gender. |

Arsongender, also known as arokiagender, refers to someone who feels a disconnect from one's gender, fully or partially, and therefore completely dissociates with gender as a social construct and instead chooses to identify outside of the gender norm in a fluid way, accompanied with the desire burn the entire social construct of gender down, thus the name arsongender.
One who identifies as arsongender often does not abide by gender norms, knowing their gender is there but simply cannot be described by any label, resulting in a disconnect from one's own gender, similar to pomogender. Due to this, people who identify as arsongender may not understand societies social construct of gender and the rules that apply to it, leading to an even further disconnect or hate towards gender. Arsongender people may in certain contexts prefer to be unlabeled, and they are often gender non-conforming because of their lack of understanding or dislike towards gender.
