History
An image from The SAGAnthology in DiversifyLit 2016, alludes lack of love as a quality of aphilic.[1] It was never fully defined until 27 February 2019, where it's also added to the definition the lack of paraphilias and "normophilias".[2] Omnianattracted was suggested as an alternative by Aster in 2018 via orientando.org.[5] The definition was also based on acephilia.[3]
Flag
The aphile flag was made by Tumblr user Beyond MOGAI Pride Flags on February 27, 2019. It has no confirmed meaning.
